The movie "Homeless to Harvard" seemed to be a very inspirational movie. It showed that no matter where you came from, hard work can take you places that you previously thought impossible. My favorite part was when Liz's mother died, and at that point, decided that she was going to work her tail off. I like this because it shows her perseverance. If I was in the position that Liz was in, I do not think I would have done the same thing. I do not have the faintest idea as to what I would do, but I would probably sulk for a while longer.

  1. Not many people would have chosen to do what she did and not many teenagers today have the amount of determination that she had at that point in her life.

  2. Enduring it is a very difficult thing to do, and it is surprising that Liz never gave up even though her friend Chris would tell her to not go to school and to stay with her.

  3. It is hard to imagine what you would do in Liz's situation because it was so shocking. I understand you not knowing what to do or when , it's logical.

  4. I like how you came to the conclusion that you did about how with hard work, no matter where you come from you can get to places in life that you never would have dreamed of.
